"Nomad" is the spiritual successor to "Still". This time around, more focus is put around the idea of the "journey", of seeing and experiencing strange, exotic and unknown places. There's more emphasis on variety and a stronger sense of moving from one place to the other.

Musically, "Nomad' is still about orchestral textures, but this time around also has more of a narrative focus. There's more effort to be intense and create narrative or cinematic "moments" in each track. To give the album on stronger sense of place and movement, ethnic and traditional instruments are given a bigger role, and place themselves on top of the dreamy and haunting orchestral texture.
The intent is to create "narrative ambient music", that is music that uses the structures, tools and overall language of ambient music to tell a clear story, pushing the music somewhat closer to a film or video game score.
